COMPUTER UPGRADE

We are excited to be upgrading all of our public Internet computers in the Reference Dept. in conjunction with BELD IT.  The new computers will offer Windows 11 with enhanced security and the same productivity software that you are accustomed to using.

We are also introducing new printing and time management software. The tentative timeline for completed transition is May 1 – May 9. During this time, Chromebooks (in-library use only) will still be available for checkout, so remember to bring your library card. Chromebooks are perfect for using a Google account to access Google’s web-based suite of applications which includes word processing, spreadsheets, slide presentations and more. Sorry, the Chromebooks will not have printing capability until the new print software is operational.

Fax services are not affected. Photocopying may be temporarily unavailable on the Lower Level, but will be available on the Upper Level.
