In observance of Independence Day, we will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and closing early at 5 pm on Wednesday, July 3.

Open 9AM-5PM on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, through Saturday, Nov. 30. Regular hours resume Monday, December 2.

Thayer Public Library has a new online event calendar (LibCal). The old calendar (Eventkeeper) is no longer being updated. Please bookmark the library's new event calendar here. Please also bookmark our museum pass page for pass reservations after Dec. 31.

Saturday hours are back! Library Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 am-9 pm; Friday & Saturday, 9 am-5 pm.

In observance of Labor Day, the Library will be closed on Monday, September 2nd. Fall hours begin Tuesday, September 3rd.

Library hours will be 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve). The library will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Library hours will be 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve). The library will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1.
